We understand that balancing study with everyday life can be challenging. That’s why we have a range of flexible study options to help you achieve your study goals. Online learning is perfect for people who work full time, lead busy lives, or would rather study when it suits them. Studying online also lets you have more control of your learning by allowing you to manage your workload and set your own deadlines.
Our secret is in our student support. Our e-learning environment keeps you connected and engaged with your teachers throughout the online learning experience. We also have a dedicated student support team committed to helping you get the most out of your student experience, from enrolment through to graduation.
How it works ? While you won't be sitting in one of our classrooms, as an online student at ITJTC you're still very much a part of our community. Find out how online study works, how you'll be assessed, and how you can access your study resources and teachers.
When you study online with ITJTC, You can pay for the total 8 units, or you can also enrol in one or two units at a time. You will then have a period of 4 weeks in which to complete the units. This is to ensure you can balance your studies with your other work and family commitments.
Hours of study
The duration of the course depend on how many hours you take for study. There are no set hours of study when you study online with ITJTC. But to give you an idea of how much time you'll need to allocate to your studies we recommend that you allow between 10-20 hours per week, depending on your level of study.
Access to teachers
Just because you're studying online doesn't mean you have to study alone. You can contact your teachers from Monday to Friday via phone and email. Generally teachers will respond to any questions you may have within 24-48 hours. You will find the contact details of all your teachers in V-class. Your teachers will also use V-class to post news items, additional study resources, and answers to frequently asked questions.
How you'll learn
As an ITJTC online student you'll have access to a range of online resources through V-class— your online study platform. Through V-class you can access your units, study resources, and interact with your teachers and classmates. You'll study using a variety of learning methods including video clips, research projects, and our live webinar platform: online rooms.
How you'll be assessed
Your knowledge and understanding will be assessed regularly throughout your online studies using a variety of different methods. Assessment methods vary between courses and may include assignments, online quizzes, or exams. As competency based training, that may also require you to submit logbooks, portfolios of evidence, or third party reports from your employer
The benefit of this portal will be:
1. Easy to learn: you can download your MS word “Student workbook”, or other assignment, projects, and strait type your answer on to them and save them.
2. Save cost and time: You only submit them through online but no need post mail.
3. Keep you close communicating with trainer: Whatever your submission, chart, or poster, will be received immediately to our trainer. Answers should get back to you within 24 hours.
4. Speed up your learning: our competency based training not focus on your learning process, but focus on your competency, you can attach any documents as evidence, that prove your competency, that will lead you “Satisfactory” of the Unit.
